How to setup EX8000:
WiFi protected setup (WPS) technique of installation-
- Switch ON the extender X6S EX8000
- Ensure router along with extender in the same room
- Electrically connect your extender
- Green LED need to glow now
- Switch ON the WPS on the extender
- Router + Extender connection will be better if link status LED glows white
- Re-route X6S device now
- Put your device at low network area and then join the device with extender fast network and enjoy the fast connectivity
If the router supports the 5GHz band, the Nighthawk EX8000 extender will also try first to link with the same band support and if this not done it will further create so many technical issues during the Netgear extender setup process

The manual way of installation-
- The extender need to turn ON
- Put this to nearby of the router
- The extender is now required electrical connection
- If glows green LED, join the router- extender
- On your mobile gadget visit mywifiext.net
- As the installation process appears, go through it and join the Nighthawk X6S extender with the wireless network
- Ensure the extender and router are closer to get a good network
- Now finally setup done and just join your devices(client) with this strong network

By the App, setup may be processed both in Android and iOS devices
- Ensure the router is ON
- Write down the router passcode
- Now switch ON the extender
- Download the X6S Nighthawk app on your devices and open
- Connect to the boosted network following the on-screen installation procedures
FastLane setup procedures –
This technology enhances connectivity strength and performance
- X6S Nighthawk need to join with the available router
- Browse the mywifiext.net link and fill login details
- Page ‘Genie’ now shows, then go to ‘Do More option’ and then ‘FastLane option’
- Setup will reflect 02 choices-
- Your device + extender at 2.4 GHz band: Extender + router at 5 GHz band
- Your device + extender at 5 GHz band: Extender + router at 2.4GHz band
- Choice will be yours and then save
X6S AC3000 setup problems:
You may observe the following problems when the setup starts
- Inability to Log
- Low network problem
- Password did not match
- net processing problem
- Genie page continued to reflect on the screen
- Firmware not getting an update

- IP 192.168.1.250 not accessing and miwifiext.com showing error

FIRMWARE updation for the extender EX8000:
Updation of firmware software of extender required, If any odd behavior and the speed-related issue occurred. So do not forget to get updated firmware and here you find the process of upgradation-
- Nighthawk is power ON, ensure this
- X6S need to join with the available router
- Visit any web browser
- Enter after typing www.mywifiext.net then login too
- In the setting step to choose alternative as firmware upgrade and next choose check
- Upgrade needs, click yes to the further course of action
- It takes some time to complete
Troubleshooting faults occurred during setup:
- Ensure the correct supply of power available to X6S Netgear and wall plug isn’t broken
- Cables should not be broken or jointed anywhere
- Reset it to achieve factory default settings
- Ensure your ‘Internet browser’ along with ‘Firmware software’ to be the current version
- Avoid putting X6S Instruments near the house wall, aquarium, Ovens, Bluetooth instruments, metal make parts, etc.
- Ensure correct URL to be written on the web browser
